ABOUT EKOLOJI
OUR CONCEPT
We create women's clothing and accessories styles from materials coming from second-hand garments and new ecological fabrics. Each component of the product and its packaging is analyzed to reduce its impact on the environment.
All used garments are washed and disinfected before being sent to our cutting table. The sustainable fashion collection is designed, developed, and manufactured in our own workshop to control every aspect of the production.

OUR STORY
EKOLOJI is the result of an extended analysis
of the fashion industry by designer Sylvie Néron.
The textile industry is part of the top 4 sources of pollution with the energy sector, transportation, and agriculture. *
The reports on its effect on the environment are alarming. From the production of fabrics, from the dyeing process to the development of accessories, from its packaging to its trans-global transport and especially its over-consumption,
fashion's current production model is leading directly to an environmental crisis.
EKOLOJI, as the name implies, brings an option to those concerned with these issues; Sustainable fashion that combines recycled and ecological fabrics.

OUR MISSION
EKOLOJI is engaged in an upcycling mission to slow down the cycle of fashion consumption in Canada and invites its customers to rethink their way of buying.
Each product purchased comes with a list of specific information about the ecological features that were implemented, and the amount of water saved.
UPCYCLING : WHAT IS THIS?
It's the process of using a product at the lowest level of the consumption chain and modifying it to put it back into the chain at a higher level. This way, it continues to live and reduces the need for overproducing.
EKOLOJI buys quality used garments from Non-Profit Organizations to help them have funds for their projects. By purchasing an EKOLOJI product you are supporting a whole community and reducing your carbon footprint at the same time.
